Diego Senior is a producer and journalist with over 20 years of experience in audio docs, broadcast television, and media production.
He has produced limited audio series such as Legado (Spotify Originals, 2021), BotLove (Radiotopia/PRX, 2023), and Reinas de Queens (Radio Ambulante and iHeart Radio, 2026). Prior to his work in long form audio storytelling, Mr. Senior built a 15-year career in radio journalism at Caracol Radio, part of PRISA Radio, where he rose from producer to correspondent, host, and eventually executive leadership.
During his tenure, he contributed to the network's news and digital expansion efforts while leading editorial and production teams across major national and international coverage initiatives.
Mr. Senior has also produced broadcast television content for major outlets in the US including National Geographic, CBS News, and Investigation Discovery, writing, field producing, and story producing short documentaries on technology, nature, true crime, and social justice. His project management and development skills have further extended to editorial projects published by houses such as Harper Wave and Ten Speed Press.
Diego holds a Bachelor's degree in Media and Journalism from Universidad de La Sabana in Bogota and a Master's degree in International Affairs from The New School in New York City.
Mr. Senior currently collaborates with the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
